Site 8: Switchgrass

Oh that I had wings like a dove!

Psalm 55:6

Site 8 sits on the North shore of the old swimming pool. Traditionally, sand was brought to this back shore to provide a beach area for swimmers to sit in the sun. Today, much of the sand has been lost due to tidal flow in and out of the swimming pool. Switchgrass has colonized much of the original beach area. The pond is ringed by multiple tree species. Where you stand, you will see many acorns in the autumn months that fall from the oak trees in the area.
